Tech unleashes artistic creativity!

Hello! I’m a Ph.D. student at POSTECH, advised by Prof. Seungyong Lee. I love 3D animations—especially the ones from Pixar and Sony Pictures Animation. My goal is to help artists unleash their creativity without any limits.

As a researcher in computer graphics, I’m building tools, algorithms, and pipelines to support artists technically. Right now, I’m focused on converting multi-view drawings into 3D models that keep the original drawing style intact. In the long run, I want to make 3D animation easier for everyone. I want to make it easy and fast for everyone to create 3D animations from their 2D hand-drawings, no matter what they imagine.

I’m interested in gaining experience in the animation industry, but I don’t really know how to get started yet. If you have any advice, please feel free to reach out to me!
